In collaboration with the client, we identified several delivery challenges:
- Time reporting: Limited transparency in capacity, forecasting, and alignment with the IT operating model.
- KPI’s: Existing metrics lacked clarity and impact, providing little value to stakeholders.
- Best practices & tools: Gaps in consistent application of SAFe practices and supporting tools, especially for PI planning.
- Ceremonies: SAFe events (I&A, PI Planning, SoS) risked becoming status updates rather than value-driven collaboration.
- Operating model: Dependency management and collaboration across delivery and support teams needed improvement.
