An organisation with 70+ employees operated across multiple disconnected systems, limiting visibility into performance and operations. Reporting was manual and fragmented, and no central data foundation existed, making it difficult to generate consistent insights across HR, finance and project operations.
Kopenhagen Konsulting built a unified data platform in Microsoft Fabric using a medallion architecture. We analysed core systems and integrated them into structured, BI- and AI-ready models using dbt, enabled governance through Purview and standardised development processes through DevOps. We also introduced a context layer to support scalable data consumption across analytics and AI use cases.
Within three months, the organisation had a scalable data foundation delivering consistent insights across HR, financial performance and operations. Teams launched multiple initiatives in parallel on the same platform, eliminating the need for project-specific integrations. The foundation now supports future data, BI and AI use cases across the business.
